Lunar paraphrase
This poem by Robert Stevens starts with alliteration of moon mother pathos pity. It doesn't rhyme much but it sort of has a rhythm. This poem is personifying the moon. The second through tenth line have assonance such as when, the, wearier, end, November. The final and eleventh line is also the first line, the moon is the mother of pathos and pity. This poem also has metaphors.
I like this poem sort. I didn't really understand it but that is fine. Similes weren't in it either.

I have seen
I have seen the world and back,
The destruction and those that lack.
everywhere happy, sad, alone,
anyone everyone I am there,
even if you cannot bear.
The inside peoples minds,
bombs dropped in lines.
I send myself to you,
to find what is true.
You may not remember much,
I still know all, though,
like a wise old crow.
I can see the smoke,
and death from when one small pipe broke.
I'd rather be like those I see,
they can do and flee unlike me.
alone that is what I am,
without friends to fight,
and family so for light.
All I have is nightmares,
you can fight all that leers.
I know the name,
of all the same.
they are all of one mind,
confusion rings,
and color brings.
Sight and sound telling different,
the happy faces and the defining sound was sent.
I say I send myself afar,
but that is not on par.
why can't you see that I am really you?
The destruction and those that lack.
everywhere happy, sad, alone,
anyone everyone I am there,
even if you cannot bear.
The inside peoples minds,
bombs dropped in lines.
I send myself to you,
to find what is true.

poetry response 2
This
was random. Completely random. If you don't believe me look at the
title. It had plenty of notating too. I had a square around the entire
poem just to show randomness.
I like this because random is always interesting to me. It was also easy to notate. The poem is not following anything.
Only
three words were spelled correctly. The words who, to, and grasshopper
were those spelled right. Grasshopper was also spelled incorrectly.
If you unscramble the title I believe it is grasshopper. This poem has
pretty much no sense of direction either. I think it ends how it
starts. It also messes with your head incase you don't see any logic in
this response.

Aaron...Haiku
Seasonal
The leaves falling down
The first frost has begun here
Ready for winter?
Spring has come with grass
more of a late winter though
cold, gloomy, dark, and...
Nature
Dark or light, color
wet or dry with plants and tools
a large pile of dirt
Harvesting is now
The piles of vegetables here
Ready fo eating
Modern Life
Flying on SOME wings
The plane alone without friends
Comes back to the earth
The pencil squeaking
Writing words for others joy
Happy to be there

Dreams are destiny gray
Dreams are destiny gray lessons of confusion.
Confusion is an oil black puddle of loss.
Loss is a paper white room of emptiness.
Emptiness is a crystal clear sky of sadness.
Sadness is ocean blue lightning of destruction.
Destruction is a sidewalk gray rock with death.
Death is a black hole that destroys the entire universe.

Disillusionment of Ten O'Clock
I found that this poem described almost every little detail. Almost every word was an adjective. When I notated this poem There weren't just some little things here little things there, I had the paragraphs in boxes notating this was very easy to notate. I found almost every line had a notation when I was done.
I like this poem because the description is everywhere. It also manages to be random. The random part is that it goes from night gowns to dreams.

forest at night
Full of life,
little creatures,
big ones too.
The wind
sneaks in,
and the sounds,
water,
branches,
leaves.
The night goes on
cold but warm.
Little light from the moon,
darkness envelopes all.
Then,
suddenly
a ray of light, begins to enter.
The animals go back, into the dark.
The light is brighter now,
birds sing,
the animals wait,
tonight they'll be out,
again.
